Proposal #1:

The GTC Board Proposes to change the 1027 projects renewal amount

from $15,000 to $7,000. The new motion would read as follows:

Whereas our vision is Luke 10:27, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind”, and “Love your neighbor as yourself: and whereas our mission statement is to Love People to Life, be it resolved that Glad Tidings Church restrict $7,000 (this amt. was previously $15,000) to help the needs of local and international 1027 missions projects as determined by the board; This is to be reviewed and voted upon in a year.

Proposal #2:

The GTC Board proses to gift 200 Chairs to New Hope.

Whereas, Article IX Section 3 says “All chattel property transactions shall be authorized by at least two-thirds of the voting membership present, and...

Whereas, the church owns 400 chairs, and...

Whereas, these chairs have been in storage for over 6 years...

Let it be resolved that Glad Tidings Church gift 200 chairs to New Hope at Calvary in CT.

New Hope is a church plant in New Britain CT that has been using old chairs that have mold issues which affected their regular attendance and the health of their parishioners. They are a growing city church with low-income attendees and would greatly benefit from these chairs in their worship space. The chairs are a tool and resource that GTC currently owns but this resource has been sitting dormant in storage at the parsonage basement for many years. This is an opportunity for us to be generous, to use this resource to help reach and disciple the lost for Jesus, and a chance for us to exercise our own vision and mission to love our neighbor as ourself (Luke 10:27).
